T30 UMS Directory Structure
Hi! I just got my first MP3 Player, a T30. After much work, converted it to UMS v1.71. I'm running Linux, which is why I wanted UMS. What I need to know now is where to put the mp3 files. I tried putting one in the root directory of the player, and also creating one called Music and putting an mp3 in there. No luck. So...
Can someone who is running the UMS firmware tell me what the directory structure is, and any restrictions on file names? Thanks! |

I haven't run into any restriction on filenames, beyond those imposed by fat32. Spaces are certainly allowed. For me, it works in both linux and windows with the UMS firmware. |
