T30 UMS Directory Structure

Hi! I just got my first MP3 Player, a T30. After much work, converted it to UMS v1.71. I'm running Linux, which is why I wanted UMS. What I need to know now is where to put the mp3 files. I tried putting one in the root directory of the player, and also creating one called Music and putting an mp3 in there. No luck. So...

Can someone who is running the UMS firmware tell me what the directory structure is, and any restrictions on file names?

Thanks!

Under Linux and Windows I'm just copying music to the root of the device. Does it work from Windows?

As far as I can tell, the T30 plays from any directory, including the root directory. The only exception is the special directories, like "Playlists" that are there before you add anything.

I haven't run into any restriction on filenames, beyond those imposed by fat32. Spaces are certainly allowed.

For me, it works in both linux and windows with the UMS firmware.
