Question Finding Serial # on T10
I need some help. I recently bought a iRiver T10 and I was going on iRiver's website and was gonna download the firmware updates and software.

My first question is I need to know where the serial number is on this device. It doesn't appear on the sticker and I looked at the package it came in and it doesn't have it on there.

My second question, are all the updates good that are out there? My player working fine as it is, just wondering what these updates actually upgrade on the device.

On my T10, the serial number is on a white tag inside the battery compartment.

Good luck trying to read it. You may need a magnifying glass, small mirror and flashlight. You can verify/register your iriver serial number at iriver's web site.

You might be able to yank it out with some tweezers, but that might void the warranty, but to get warranty service you need the serial number.

Reading the serial number was easy compared with trying to register at irivers site. For me, for some reason the registration web page was a bear even trying two different browsers, firewall and all other filters and protections off or to the minimum (java, cookies, scripts, etc). I was there for almost an hour. If you need help there, leave a post. I think I figured out how to get through it if I need to do it again, (maybe others don't have a problem there).

I think this is the iriver international site.

I probably should have registered through iriveramerica.com site.

My login for "iriver.com" does not work for "iriveramerica.c om". I registered at "iriver.com" to use the forum ("iriveramerica.c om" does not have a support forum).

After I registered, I was able to register my product from my account page.

Hello i resently resived a T30MX 512MB model from my friend but i dont now what to do. I dont have any of the software or anything for it and i dont now how to put music on it. The only thing i have for it is the USB cable and that is it. So if anyone could send me the software and whatever else i need i would be very thankfull.

Hi do you know how to download videos onto e10 iriver i downloaded the the iriverter thing but it said on my e10 the data was not supported i dont know what else to do
