A T10 2 GB on its way?!?
I've seen lately that SANDISK has 2 GB flash players around the same size form as our beloved T10's.
I wonder if T10's with 2 GB will be offered soon or in the late Summer/early Fall season? Just wondering out loud. If so...I also wonder how having double the memory locations will affect battery life? If there was only a negligible hit on battery life----I'd consider getting one and passing my 1 GB down to a family member. I'd imagine that a 2 GB model would only increase in cost, 30-40 percent more over the MSRP 1 GB T10. |

Hello Simon! SimonT20, I just went to that link, and when hitting the English tab, it didn't do much. Could you please create a link right to the page displaying the T10 offered as a 2 GB model (in green)? I wonder why only in Sweden?!?!? Thanks a bunch! Sesquash |

Well i think it is released in europe first because there loss of sales in this region.
The main reason that a lot of people stopped buying iriver, i think, was because of the MTP issues. And also that we had no radio, just because iriver didnt want to pay the license costs. So now that they are finally releasing UMS+radio to europe, they want to get attention from the european consumers, to make them buy iriver instead of samsung, iaudio, rio etc... So... we get the 2Gb version first |

hey
just called iriver germany today. they told me iriver will launch t10 2gb fm ums in central europe end of 2. quarter ( may/june ). the central europe 2gb version will come in black! sweden and other nordic countrys are distributed by iriver nordic. thats the reason why they have a green skinned t10 2gb. so, if you wanna know some information about t10 2gb referring to your region just call your iriver headquarter (iriver america, russia, korea...) they (german iriver hq) expect a official mtp->ums firmware in the near future for already released players but maybe with some dongle shit. if so you need a key to unlock ums because of windows media drm licence shit |

The Cost of a Danish purchased T10 in U.S. funds...
Converting 261.49 U.S. Dollars to Danish Kroner will yield 1580.00 Danish Kroners.
A Danish site has them (T10 2 GB) listed (green body) for 1580 Kroners April 4th/2006 exchange will cost you $261.49 for one Being that you can buy a T10 1 GB (blue body) for $149.00 (U.S.) at Circuit City's Website...that would make adding one GB's storage potential way too much for what you would get in convenience payback. Why, for another $39.00 (U.S.) you could buy a SECOND 1 GB model and load that one up with music. To carry two in your pocket would be no big deal...and the added benefit is that you now have a back-up unit!!! Just one way of looking at 2 GB's and a T10! |

Hey guys. We at irivernordic ab, in Sweden, are very pleased to be able to offer this 2GB version of the T10 model. As of 2006 we have a direct collaboration with iriver Korea. This means that we have a better chance to offer our customers good deals
Right now we have both H120/H140 and H320/H340 back in stock for example! |

Can anybody confirm then if it's coming to Portugal/Spain/U.K anytime soon also?
I'm thinking of getting one from Canada, but in this case if it does have FM and it's 2gigs, I might just hold off. |

It has already been reported in dapreview.
http://www.mp3direct.com.au/webstore...productID=1114 has it for $286.00. They also announce a price drops on all iriver products. But engadget are getting old news, and they announcing it in Japan on the 26th April. |

Wow that is a tad pricey, I jsut got my 1gig T10 like 4 days ago from bestbuy for $149.99 CAN. It seemed like a great buy IMHO, since i have heard mircales of iriver battery life and sound quality, durability and so on. And I was jsut about to buy the Sandisk Sansa c140 which is VERY competitive with the T10, in features looks and everything, even cheaper. I am glad I held back from the Sansa because I have heard from several reveiews on how "cheap" it felt, the T10 is AWEOMSE. And wow am I enjoying this player, it is my 4th one. Passed my older Sandisk Sansa

^ those money conversions are most likely wrong. other places have taxes on DAPs

Email this to iriver about getting new firmware for the clix. They will probably take ideas for their new players too so it's better to tell them what needs to be improved before releasing a new player. |

Well, mp3direct.com.au is AUD$ 285 included international shipping, I think.
I was asking how serious this site is because i'm about to buy there from France, it's very far from australia, and I just don't want to be stolen.... ! |

oh okay!! Sorry, I didn't realise you were buying from overseas! ummm... I'm assuming they're genuine?? I personally haven't bought anything from them so I don't know what they're like.
I've just had a look at their website though and all prices are _excluding_ delivery. I also couldn't find any info about international shipping. It would appear they only ship within Australia and New Zealand. I've had a look at a few other websites in Aus that are selling the T10 2GB and it appears that Centre.net.au are the only ones who will ship internationally. Only problem is that they charge you approx $54AUD for the pleasure. The price of the player duty free is $261.05 though so it'd be a total of $318.70AUD all up including delivery. Here's a link to their site -> http://centre.net.au/index.html?cat=...9KZ&it=product Hope that helps |

Thanks a lot for your help ! :-)
My english is pretty crapy but i'll try to explain what I've understood so far. When I try to buy the T10 2GB on mp3direct.com.au, I see a kind of 'summary' of the price : Price Ex.Tax : $ 260.00 Tax Amount : $ 26.00 (10.00 %) Sub-Total Inc.Tax : $ 286.00 Next, i am asked to enter my name, address & country. And only after that, the computer knows i'm living in france and sum up the total price differently : Tax Amount : $ 0.00 Tax : 0.00 % Price (Inc. Tax) : $ 260.00 Sub total : $ 260.00 International shipping : $ 25.00 Total : $ 285.00 ... and here I am :-) So, it seems that I don't have to pay the mysterious tax if I buy from France. Seems weird to me anyway... But it's cheap and very interesting ! What do you think ? |
