Looking for a comparison of AU and US T10s

Okay, I'm an Australian looking to purchase the T10 (1GB) via an American store, thus obviously getting the US as opposed to the AU/Korean version. I am aware that the AU version is UMS and coloured yellow, while the other is not and coloured blue. Now what I would like to know is what further differences are there between these two versions. I just want to ensure my purchase is completely and utterly compatible in my situation and that I would not be surprised by unexpected features, or lack of.

Also, would anyone (in particularly other fellow Australians) have any reason as to why I shouldn't be buying from the US? Please note, I am not well knowledged in these devices, so please bear with me.

I appreciate your time.

keep in mind that you must be running Windows XP and Media Player 10 to use the T10. You can get it cheap at CircuitCity.com I bought mine for $139 US. Had a few problems starting up with Napster-To-Go but so far I really like it. Good sound..still playing with it..i've only had it a few hours.

most of us north american we were so happy that we have finally convert the north amrican model to UMS and i do not understand why would you want to buy the north american model, it works very slow with pc..buy the UMS don't buy MTP the transfer is much slower, and you have to use with xp service pack 2 or else you can't use it at all..trust me, i have my as MTP unit and once i converted that to UMS i am very very very happy...but again it just my $.02..cheers

This may sound weak, but I really ain't a fan of the yellow scheme they got going for the AU version. I much prefer the US version's more subtle and (what I personally believe as) more befitting colours.
