T10 File Sorting Question

Does anyone know how I can get this thing (T10) to sort my files and folders alphabetically. I can copy them on the unit, but it does not display them in alphabetic order. It just puts any added file/folder at the end of the list. If you add and delete folders frequently, as I do, they wind up completely out of order in no time! Am I missing something, or is this software really this stupidly designed? I could live with the fact that it's an MTP rather than a UMS device if it would at least display the files/folders in order! Some of us don't want to use WMP10 to load or music, or even want it on our computer! I have several thousand mp3's that are all arranged in folders and can't imagine myself loading one song at a time, or spending weeks organizing them into playlists using WMP10! I'm probably going to return this, but any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

I had the same problem with my T30 then I realised it sorts the files in the order that it is transferred. I think the fastest way to do this is to create a blank folder in the drive your player appears as, then cut them back into the player in the order you want it. Not that troublesome considering you can open multiple windows.

Thanks for the reply, but I have 20 to 40 folders (about 1 gb) on this thing at any given time and If I want to add one and keep them in alphabetical order, I have to delete all of them and reload them in order. This is really time consuming and stupid! I had a Samsung yp-mt6z that was a flash drive and I could add a folder and it would appear in the right order in the directory on the player. I could even insert an individual file into a folder and have it sorted alphabetically so I could find it. I also could upload and download to any computer without having to install WMP10, which I don't like. Much better design for my needs. Unfortunately it was stolen and they replaced it with a model that has a built-in rechargable battery which is not desirable to me either. Oh well! I guess I'll have to keep looking. Thanks anyway.
