I got a T30!

Just got me a T30 at the Comex show in Singapore. I got the 1GB one for 309, which seems a tad expensive but what the hell, it's my first mp3 player. I was thinking of getting the T10, but it was $50 more and contrary to my beliefs, it's actually super fat at the back because of the battery. It looks so sleek in the photos but in real life it's pretty big.

My first impression was that this player is so damn small!!! Shorter than the length of my thumb and about an inch thick so that's pretty small! It's solidly built and looks great!

I thought this player would be hard to use, but fortunately it's not. Pretty easy, just have to get used to how it works. I didn't need a manual though, so should be pretty good. It has a Radio, radio recording, voice recording and stuff so that way it's good. Apparently only has a 20 hour battery life, but considering that it works on an AAA battery that's pretty good!

Also, the songs load very very fast! If you're scrolling through it loads immediately!

It sounds great, so no worries there. Has all your sound settings as well if you want to tinker with them. I just lowered the SRS and trubass thing a bit.

All in all I'm very happy with my investment!

These forums have helped a lot so I'll be glad to answer any questions you may have about this player as long as you don't say that I got bad deal or that I should have got something else instead!

This is one of the things why I still like my iFP 395T much next to my H10[5GB]: flash memory is soo fast! Immediately changing to the next song without 'loading' it first. My H10 sometimes has a delay of up to 5 sec . Ah well, flash memory players are a maximum of 2GB at the moment, so I don't really mind .

Good luck with your first iRiver purchase !

Thanks!

Come to think of it, it's my first ever music playert that I have bought, though I did get a walkman and a cd player as a gift.

sounds like a cool tool. not for me though storage space is too small for my liking, but that's me...
