New firmware for USA version of T10 and T30

Just saw a posting on iriver's worldwide site for a new version of firmware for the T10 and T30. Here's what was fixed:

1. Fixed the issue of not powering on again after auto power off.
2. Fixed the issue of not repeat 1 and repeat D on playlist playback.
3. Fixed the issue of not playing certain WMA files till the end.
4. Fixed the issue of not playing certain music files downloaded from MSN.
5. Fixed the issue of not playing certain music files purchased for limited playback time.
6. Fixed the issue of displaying incorrect time information of music files.
7. Fixed the issue of not playing for 1 second from the initial part of tracks.
8. Fixed the issue of not shuffling properly.
9. Other minor bugs have been fixed.

Got another T10 and applied the firmware patch to it. All went well, though it takes around 3 minutes to apply.

As to my particular concern, the EQ limit, I set the pot on treble to +12 and set to user EQ. This time I did not hear the limiting I heard on the T10 and T30. The sound still seems to limit a little above +30 or so, but at that point the sound is so loud that it really doesn't matter. I didn't hear the obvious sound drop when I switched from Normal to User EQ.

Will try it at home this evening on my Koss PortaPros (I was using an inear Aiwa phone at work, not the best test). But so far, it appears as though maybe something is different.

While I didn't really expirience any of those porblems mentioned above, I went ahead and upgraded to the 1.04 firmware. Only took about 25 seconds on my player. Went smoothly. Note to all those who upgrade, updating to this release didn't delete any data from the player, but DID restore factory settings.

I wonder why this isn't listed at the www.iriveramerica.com site yet. Anyway, sharp eye, Bobpenn.

How do I get into my T10. The instructions say to put it at the root of the T10 but it won't let me copy it there, only in the data file. My Iriver Music Manager won't acknowledge that I have it connected either so I can do it tha way.

Never mind. I put it in my data folder and as soon as I disconnected the USB cable and turned it on, it acknowledged the firmware file. By the way it won't work that way using that korean firmware upgrade.
