T10 doesn't work with Rhapsody subscription content?

I signed up for Rhapsody and transferred music just fine to my T10. But the songs do not play (the icon changes to play for a split-second and then changes to stop). If I fill the player with such music, it appears to skip to each song and try to play it but fails when I press play. If I add an unprotected music file, that song will play.

I received an email support from iRiver saying that this is a problem with Rhapsody and the T10. So I signed up for Napster To Go and that works with the T10 just fine. But the Napster client program seems very inferior to the Rhapsody client.

I also planned to try out Yahoo Unlimited but because of some serious goof on their site, I am not allowed to download the client because I am a former SBC DSL customer so now the page that provides the downloads says something like "sorry, you need to upgrade to DSL service to get this feature".

This is odd, because I attempted to use Napster-to-go music with my T10 and it refused to playt he tracks.

I can't sync with either rhapsody or Napster to go. My T10 does the exact same thing as the original poster. Files load but don't play. Wonder if Yahoo to go will do the same. Is this a bug or known issue with the T10 or what

Same thing with MSN Music. T-10 says it's playforsure certified, but none of the songs I've purchased will play on the T-10. Files transfer and display on the T-10, but won't play. Exhibits the same symptoms as in the first post (the icon changes to play for a split-second and then changes to stop). Was very disappointed after purchasing about 20 songs that I can't even play on my new T-10
Hope someone (iriver) figures this out pretty quick. Great player IMO otherwise.

After some more expirimentation, this is my results.... after Napster loaded tracks initially failed to play, I formated the T10 and tried again. Of the tracsk I cued for transfer all but 1 fails to transfer, although the 1 that did, did play. On the whole, Napster's compatibility with the T-series seems pretty crappy, and their customer support was no help.

Yahoo Unlimited has so far worked flawlessly with my T10, so I can completely verify this service's compatibility with it.

I've never used Rhapsody, so I can't comment on it.

My advice when trying to troubleshoot subscription porblems is to insure WMP is up to date, insure teh service client is up to date, and then use the T10/T20's built-in format option to "clense" the player before it's initial communication with the service client. Also, if using Yahoo, select all subscription files in your library and and choose "relicense."

Hope this helps.

well, since nobody responded to my question I found out myself by testing the player. It does work with musicmatch purchased music as well as msn and yahoo unlimited.
