Will the T10 and T30 work on Windows ME?

The iriver websites only say XP. I'm currently using ME, so I want to know if those mp3 players will work on my com or not.

So it won't work on my com?

Surely that can't be the case? Why won't it work on ME?

I don't know, but since the manufacturer of the device doesn't say that it will work on your computer, I wouldn't count on it.

Microsoft DRM requires XP

The Microsoft digital rights management implementation requires XP and Windows Media Player 10 to support the subscription services. This is why they say that XP is required. It may be that the player will work if all you want is to transfer unprotected music content around.

Separately, XP is really a much nicer operating system than ME and computer prices are really low these days... You should think about upgrading your computer when upgrading your music player.

I'm a poor student so I don't have enough money for both. I just use my pc for internet and word processing here and there so don't need a high end one. My p3 will do fine. I want an mp3 player more anyway. Been waiting a few years to buy one!

Apparently the Asia version works on ME so i'm good!
