Help!

I got a T10 512mb to cover my stolen Creative 256mb player. Long story short the person at the shop said if i choose to upgrade to a m:robe 100 it will cost me $40 more (Australian).

So should I pay the $40AUD for the 5gig m:robe or should I stick to the 512mb T10.

Cheers.

Have you ever heard of m:robe before now? I haven't, so I wouldn't because I don't know anything about it. History? Manufacturer? Features?

Unless you know about the player in question, or at least the manufacturer, I personally wouldn't do it.

Yeah, the screen and buttons are really cool, and a storage increase equivalent to 10X more cant be bad for $40.

Just read a review on it and sounds like value for money. I would go for it as long as there is not a particular reason you wanted a flash player.

So did you upgrade to the m:robe? How is it compared to the iriver T10? Personally im thinking of getting the 512mb T10 for more sporty/rugged use. Just wish you could choose either of the three colours rather than according to capacity size. mmmm..lime green!

Where you happy with the t10 before the option to upgrade came along?

Cheers!

I never opened the box. I played with it in the store and it looked nice (abit on the chunky side, but no big issue). The screen is nice aswell, but with it being such a small size, there is really no point of it being colour.

I still got the box on my desk. One thing that stands out is the 50+ hour battery life on 1 AA battery...

Pretty amazing. But then again, I went for the m:robe because of the larger memory and cool looks.

What's the m:robe like? They look pretty and I like some of the fatures but it doesn't do UMS. (starting to realise the downsides of linux)
