Sensitivity D-click system on S10

Just got my S10 today, and after playing with it for a bit, I noticed that sometimes, when I press the sides, I hear a click which is subsequently not registered by the S10. This makes quick scrolling a bit of an annoyance as I have to click more often in order to get to the place I want. I was wondering whether this is a mechanical problem with my S10, or just lousy quality of the mechanical switches inside the device.

I'll answer my own question . A few months after I wrote the above message, the D-click system on the S10 failed; it would no longer 'click'. The replacement player I got from my supplier is a lot more responsive and less prone to skipping audible clicks. Apparently I got a player which was on the verge of calling it quits...
