[S10] FAT file system and english as only language

hi all!

i bought yesteday an S10 here in Italy and i'm very impressed by this player.
just two questions:

-does iriver know that the only language selectable is english although you could choose the language preferred in S10 menu? i mean, does anybody know of this issue or it's only for italian language?

-is a problem that the S10 file system is in FAT format and not FAT32 or NTFS?
is it possible to reformat it as a normal USB drive?

thanks for the answers,

Ciroops.
