s10 vs Clix2 - which one would you choose?

Hiya,

Very tempted to move to either player after my H340 has looked after me so well, but Im a bit stuck which one to get. The s10 looks perfect for gym stuff and mainly audio, while the Clix2 is basically a reduced H340 (though Id only get the 8GB personally).

For me the s10 is in the lead just because its out at the capacity I would expect for such a player (truly seems to be a shuffle killer)

I doubt anyones got both to compare but what one would you go for and why?
Hoping theres a good list of features; pros/cons that will help me out. Basically looking for a replacement to the H340 and if I could afford it and justify it I would have both.

TIA

I presume the Clix2 isnt too different to the Clix (just better design and screen)

I was in a similar boat and opted for the s10. Don't see the point in watching videos on what is more suited as an mp3 player. I used to be the sort of person who had such an addiction for fiction-escapism-mind numbing that i would put videos on my pda and watch them while commuting. but those days are over.
Battery Life is a downer, but the miniscule size of the player and the recharging adaptor means i should be easily able to recharge it on the move. most workplaces these days have a pc, as do schools, universities, colleges, friends & family's houses etc

Still waiting to here if someone innovates a battery pack for the s10

edit: just found this:

http://www.theiriverstore.com/
misticriver store sell a battery pack already

p.s. films are much better on a pure vga resolution (640x320?) screen like that of the HTC Universal (pocket pc-phone) than a qvga etc mp3 player.

p.p.s. right, the clix2 has a better screen, is a bit slimmer (though longer too), and i think there are some functional upgrades too. there's an abridged review posted on the clix website from jeff's signature. http://www.clixhere.net/

In retrospect, I can see the attraction of having one piece of gear which functions as an mp3 player, video player, picture displayer, text viewer and maybe one day phone/pda. esp if it's an iriver
A convergence

Well Ive already got a HTC Tytn, just stuck on what I want to supersede my H340 - looks like I might just have to get the S10 for now for gym and them the Clix2 8GB or even W10 8GB for normal stuff...

Dont think there are many other players that touch those 3 for features at those sizes (Ipods dont for sure)...
