[H140] Connectivity Problem

Hi there,

After updating XP with SP2 I have a connectivity problem with my Iriver.
When I boot up the Iriver, XP gives the hardware removal icon and the Iriver show up in explorer, but when I drag and drop some albums to the Iriver I get a "cannot find blah.mp3 transfer is not possible" error message. It looks like the iHP reconnects with the PC at that point since it starts auto browsing through all the folders and files of the Iriver. The Iriver shows up in explorer again. The hardware remove icon however never changes during this proces. It's pretty anoying since I can't transfer more than one album before it gives the error. Has anyone experienced the same problem and is there a solution for this?

THNX!

I had lots of problems upgrading from Windows, then SP1 and then SP2. Instead create a Windows XP bootable install CD with SP2 already installed. It saves up installing SP2 on a normally fresh install. You usually run into tons of problems install Service Packs onto a install with lots of drivers & software pre-installed, especially if you've got chipset drivers, anti-virus etc.
