iHP 140 Power Adaptor

When I plug the supplied power adaptor into my iHP 140 the green light no longer comes on and the LCD still shows the battery indicator instead of the mains power icon. I assume my adaptor has stopped working or something inside the player has gone. It still plays but the battery is running down and I cannot charge it. Can you get a replacement power adaptor and if not do any of the other adaptors work on this model? The power adaptor output is rated 5V 2A.

Thanks

Check the Alternative Chargers thread stickied at the top of this forum.

You can also charge the player from USB, if you purchase/make a suitable cable. I have a retractable one made by Boxwave (link in my signature).

The H1xx series can only be charged via USB if you get a special cable from boxwave, you can't do USB charging on a H1xx series with a standard USB cable.

Yes. A standard Mini-B USB cable will not suffice. You need to purchase/make a suitable cable.
