I ordered at The iriver Store - Your Portable Lifestyle, Your Way! There's a button at the top of this forum 'iriver Store'. As far as I know the shop is maintained by Jeff. Ben |

Ben,
I've already ordered one from the iRiver store but I was curious how quickly your order was processed. I ordered a couple of days ago but haven't seen any refund or change in order status from paid/unshipped. That's why I wondered when you had ordered yours and if it took a few days for the refund to ripple through. John |

I ordered mine 5/20 but on the order page the status remained paid/unshipped for a week until I contacted Jeff by PM.
Then my order was shipped and he refunded the $20. So, just shoot him a PM, he's very responsive and I know for sure everything will be all right in the end. Good luck, Ben |

Battery life?
How's the battery in these 'new' H120's? Apparently they've been on the shelf for a while, and these batteries DO age even when they are not being used. I just submitted an order from the iriver store, but I'm having some second thoughts. (I don't much like the idea of waiting a week before it's even shipped.) The battery issue might have been discussed in this thread already, but I haven't found specific reports about these units. I know the battery can be (and should be) replaced and upgraded, but I need something working, asap, to replace my old rockboxed X5 while I get its battery replaced.
Thanks for any reports about battery life in these old new units. Last edited by squark : June 9th, 2008 at 10:19 PM. |

Ack! Sold out now at the iriver store?
*edit* Just as well it's OOS, I decided to do a CF mod to my existing player. Last edited by SteeleHere : June 19th, 2008 at 02:45 PM. |

My h120 arrived this afternoon.
Works just fine and now Rockboxed. Haven't seen Rockbox in ages. Looks much prettier now than it ever used to. Did get stung for fairly hefty charges. £13 VAT plus £15 'handling fee'. The VAT I expected (but hoped wouldn't apply), but not the handling charge. That makes the player a bit pricier than anticipated - should have nabbed the misticriver discount (although I thought I had) to ease the pain. Still, I have an h120 again and it sounds wonderful. |

Nice rig. I didn't realise how big the D1 was until I saw those photos!
Where did you get that optical cable from?

That was exactly my reaction when I received the D1. It's not really portable anymore but no problem since I always go backpacked anyway.
Cable is from: Sys Concept Inc. Make sure you order the right length. If you don't know contact Joseph at Sys Concept. |
