Yes the H100 is 10 Gb (and there was a h115 15Gb). The main difference between the H100/115 and the H120/140 apart from the 140's being thicker is the h10/115 have a different size RAM and therefore have a different firmware. So regardless of the hard drive size you must still use the correct firmware for the motherboard.

Is the difference in RAM enough that it limits the functionality of the player as compared to the H120 (file limits, skip buffer, etc.)? Thanks!

To my knowledge the functionality is identical.
IIRC the 10 and 15GB versions have 16MB whilst 20 and 40GB versions have 32MB. The only difference will be that the 20/40GB variants will access the hard drive less frequently to fill up the audio buffer*, making battery life slightly better. *This is assuming that the audio is continuous, i.e. you don't change tracks. Otherwise the difference in functionality will probably be negligible.
