Question Who repairs ihp-120's

Hello everyone, can someone PLEASE help.I have an ihp-120 that no longer powers on.I opened it up and the power on button has come off of the motherboard. It doesn't look like it's broken, just no longer soldered.Being that I have no soldering experience I am looking for a repair service that will do it.The iriver store no longer offers a repair service, irver itself recommended me to a company that no longer repairs them due to parts availability problems.I also checked with Cherry Fusion,a reputable 'pod repairer, and they also said no can do due to parts problem. It seems like a simple fix,but so far no luck.Considering I've got over 3000 songs on it and that I have not listened to a single radio station in over 4 years,I really need this fixed.Any solutions???? Thank You.

If you still have the power button (and its o.k) the just get it resoldered back on the player .
Do you have the remote?, as it may still power up with it.
The only other option would be to get the mother board out of a fried player and swap switches.(ebay or the buy sell trade forums). You will need 5 post to access the buy sell trade forums, then you can place a WTB for a switch or board , but they have to be worthwhile post (So introduce yourself) .
I did have some spare switches on a old mother board, but they've all gone now , and I'm sure someone here will be able to help you out.
Just as a side note : AFAIK the , A/B , Stop , Play and Record switches are all the same.
Best of luck and welcome to misticriver .

With out stating the obvious (but speaking from personal experience ) try the remote with the charger plugged in and just check that the hold switch is not on......

I'm surprised the remote won't work. My power switch popped off, but everything else continued to work. Ultimately, I had a friend resolder it and all is well.
