RIAA approved? What's that mean?

i just saw that pic when i logged onto the board... to me that would imply that it prevents from listening to "pirated music". Now hypothetically, my friend's friend uses kazaa and that is his main source of music that he would put on his iRiver if he got one. All of that will indeed work, won't it?

That's a custom boot logo...... merely poking fun at the RIAA because they are pretty much powerless when it comes to the iHP's.

Basically, it's a very funny joke by Snicker.

basically, the iHP line enables power-sharing, that is sharing so intense that over 10,000 songs could be shared in one day (iHP-140). the added adavntage of not needing device drivers (with the exception of windows 98, means that you could share tens of thousands of songs, with no way for them to catch you.

And thus being one of the primary uses for my H140, I can upload thousands of songs to a friends computer in mere minutes that would otherwise take all day to burn on cd-rw's and transport all of them off. I won't even mention transfering my songs via ftp, that would literally take weeks (my upload speed is that bad >_<)

oh, and I have to say that its still one of the best boot logos I've ever seen. Its the kind of logo that makes you look twice to make sure it really did say that lol.
