Hi,
a couple of days ago the headphone jack on my H140 gave up. I can sometimes get sound by twiggling the plug around, but after about 2 seconds, or by changing position ever so slightly, the phones go dead again. Luckily, the player comes with a line-out of course, so I can still plug the headset in there. However, I would prefer to use the proper headphone jack of course, so my question is; does anyone know if this is something that can easily be fixed? ![]() |

Well found tine, i must say you are getting so much better at this...
It also reminded me of a thread in the FAQ that Sanitarium wrote. Its a simpler fix than the one above and may be worth trying before doing something a bit more intense. Granted this one is for the H300 series, but im sure the headphone jacks are the same. So give this a look first. |

No its called a torx driver. Its a T5 torx driver, you will get one from most electronics shops like maplins.

If you cant get your hands on one you could purchase a precision screw driver set. The 1.4mm one will work no problem as well.
