Ihp-120 stopped supporting long filenames

Hi,

i have a ihp-120 and it has mysteriously stopped supporting long filenames.
i have tried both methods of ihp boot connected to usb and disconnected as suggested in other posts with no sucess. Also i upgraded to sp2a recently!???
anyone have experience with this,, please help.
