question about headphones for the h120

I read on some reviews that some headphones will not fit because of the countersunk hole. Which ones won't work? Is it the ones with the right angle plug? What are some good headphones (any style but the real huge ones... under 25$ maybe?) that fit well?

they supply a 1 inch long extention cable so you can use any headphones with the small socket on them.

not the massive ones meant for home hifis...

does the player come with one of the 1/4" jacks found on home stereo receivers and stuff like that? i got the impression the hole is just hard to get to, but its still the 1/8". Does that mean if you are using anyday headphones w/out the remote, you will be using the extension cable?

the problem is only when using the remote, the headphone socket is hard to get to, most headphones with straight plugs fit it but if not it comes with a 1inch extension.

here's a pic of my remote with the earphones plug. it's not really a question of whether the plug is an L-shaped one or not. it depends on the "thickness" of the plug actually. i managed to squeeze mine in without the extension cable. partly cos the plug material is a little soft and deformable

I hacked at mine with a penknife, worked fine, just be careful not to hack too deep lol. Just a few shavings off and it was fitting well, then simply colouring in the grey bits exposed with a black marker pen:P
