ihp-120 froze today after installing iRivium
I reset it - came back up and all seems to be fine.
Has this happened to others? Just checking in case it happens again so I'll maybe be better prepared... |

In it's present state Irivium seems to have a lot of issues. I am going to recommend to my friends that they don't purchase it for their iRiver players until a few updates have been released.
I'm having an issue that may be related to it, that I'll post as a seperate topic. It seems to be that after having files re-strucutred with Irivium some of the tracks are recognized fine by the player in the file tree mode, but not through the DB or if the songs are in a playlist. (Playlist loads fine, and plays all songs except the problem tracks.) I, of course, have checked to make sure the playlists are exactly accurate. I having figured it out completlly, but it seems like the same file strucutre can be re-created manually and have it work, under certain circumstances (which I haven't completlly figured out yet). I'd be REALLY interested if anyone has had any problems that could be even remotely connected to this. My player is 10 days old and has not so much as been looked at in the wrong way, so I don't think it's defective. It's possible it's a problem in the players firmware, but as of now the problem seems to come and go with Irivium and Irivium only. Any info could help me figure it out. |
