I have decided to ditch the old db scan... As my collection of mp3s have grown so has my boot up time!!
The filetree structure is great BUT is there any way I can get the player to boot by default to the root directory. It seems that now it is automatically set to open the first (alphabetically) folder it can find that contains media files. VERY ANNOYING... Has anyone any ideas? Cheers guys!! |

As for it starting at the root, that too is very simple. Put all your artist/music folders into a single folder called MUSIC or AUDIO etc Then, place a single MP3 in the root. When I switch on my player, it's always at the root to start with. |

Thanks Exo. I think my English is suffering more and more the older I get. I meant to say that I like that it opens in the directory where the last track played!!
God bless private schooling... |
