H140 recording levels

as we all unfortunately know we cant change the recording levels on these units, and im hearing conflicting reports on whether you can or cant on the H300 series.Can someone tell me for certain whether you can adjust the recording levels on the H300s.And also whether there are any other units on the market able to do this.I know i shoudlnt have posted here but i posted in the h300 section and thats where i got the conflicting reports.
