what i like....
what's not to like? i've had it almost 5years now and it's only started to develop a slight boot problem - it takes forever, but hopefully a format and disk check will sort that. these things seem bullet proof, i know so many people who had ipods when i had this, and long ago did they stop working. this thing just keps on going, i've dropped it many a time, thinking uh oh... and then i pick it up...and it's still playing. sure it has scratches here and there, it now how a new-ish battery in it which is good. the drag and drop interface is far superior to any software rubbish other players have. the built in radio is good, the line in/out is a handy feature. it's just miles better than any ipod was at the time. yet people mocked me for having it as it wasn't as good apparently as it 'doesn't looks as nice'
goes to show what some people know huh |

I've had mine about 4 years and can't imagine life without it. I love have Rockbox on it. I love it's sound quality, it's optical in/out, and it ability to record. I love that it can be modded easily. I'm soon to upgrade mine to an H-132 (CF mod).
Oh, and I love that I now have 2 of them!! |

loving Hxxx players
I buy music equipment for sound quality, and that is the best thing about my H100 players. I listened to quite a few different players before purchasing, and it was no contest. OK. I'm picky, being a trained musician, but if you are going to spend you time listening to music, why not hear all of it?

This player battles mainstream to infinity.
The player has quality first as it's beginning and has only gained momentum through time. Becoming only more popular and versatile as the owners find new mods and uses. (A huge thanks to the members of this forum, head-fi and rockbox for the improvements.) With the latest upgrades on drive and battery capacity it seems this will be the only player I will ever own... |

everything. i actually lost my first H140 last year and still scoured eBay for another one despite all the hassles to get it to my place. i got myself an iPod classic 160GB just 2 days ago for capacity reasons.. but i still think this one tops it all. *thinking about when the 240GB HDD surfaces..*

I love the looks of my silver h120, unfortunately, the screen's not so easy on these old eyes. However, that screen is probably pretty easy on battery power, since my h120 seems to play longer than my h320. Sound quality is terrific, as it is with all the hxxxx players. 240gb? Can't wait for that option!! piscator |
