so is there a 40gig that'll fit in my 120?

if not, will there ever be?

what about this mk4009gal? will that work?

that's a ZIF drive and won't directly work in H120 or H320.
You require a ATA version of the drive which is mk4007gal...which cannot be found on the market.

Did you not read the title or content of this thread?!
The MK4007GAL is a 40GB drive that will fit in your H120, if you can find one. They pop up on ebay every so often.

As magneto says, the MK4009GAL uses a ZIF connector which is not compatible with the IDE connector found in your H120 (unless you build your own adapter - search the forums for more info).

i didn't realize that they were on ebay, i thought the last update was that toshiba wasn't providing them for consumer use.

i think 30 gig should be enough for me so i'm gonna go ahead and order an mk3006gal

kakaku.com has the 4007GAL for about 110USD, can get them here in Japan
