Well, I read the Korean Suggestion Forums...

Though very very hard to decipher through bad translation methods, it seems that the Koreans are having similar problems that we have. Ive read of others thinking the Koreans are the only ones being heard because we are seeing bizzare and stupid updates such as lyric support. I think they are being ignored about as much as we are. Among the suggestions i heard complaints about internal clock (one suggested a way to sell a product that one add one to players already without a clock), shuffle playback, and IHP bedspreads... uh, i mean case covers (bad translation). So what i think is going on is that the Firmware developers are more or less adding what they feel is right and not what the customer wants. But thats just my 2 cents.

Oh, and id add one of the best suggestions i read there, but it was like 2 freaking pages long!

Ok great! Glad to hear it's not the Korean customers who are crying for lyrics support to practice their karaoke while on the bus! haha

Hey noodles.
Can you tell us how you did the translation? I'd be interested in trying this out myself.

Also, go ahead and put up some translated posts. Even the 2-pager. I think people would be willing to read it.

yep, i used that link sweet posted. Its altavista.com actually, but the translator is powered by babelfish. Babelfish.com takes you to the corporate site which is more business oriented. But anywho, its not a perfect translator, but you can make due with what little you got. It translates both from and to whatever language you want. But i wouldnt rely on it to post messages on the korean site, they'd probably think you were on crack or something.
