How do non-music files affect iHP with DB enabled?

I want to store many files for back up as well as all my digital camera pictures on my iHP like a second hard drive. I am also considering using the DB function for the iHP...

My question is, how does having all these non-music files on the player affect the initial load?

Say, for example I had 10 gigs of files that weren't music.. wouldn't that cause the DB to take a while to load?

Send a message via AIM to andrew
using iRiver's update DB feature only adds mp3 files to the DB. any other file type, including ogg and wma will be ignored (unless you use a third party DB updater)
