Does anyone know of a program that can change files labelled 'The Xxxxx' to 'Xxxxx ,The' ? I will need to do this to loads of files at the same time.

Ok,

From what I understand you want something like Dave Matthews to be renamed Matthews, Dave?

You can do this with Tag&Rename.

1. The first thing you need to do is rename all the artist blocks in the ID3 Tag. You can use the multi file tag edit (F3) function. In the Artist block select what you want it to be changed to "Matthews, Dave" hit save tags.

2. Then use the Raname Files option (F2) using the default setting (%1 - %2, Artist - Title).

Your ID3 will read the new artist name. So if you want it to read correctly you will need to step 1 again and change it back to the original name.

Pretty simple actually, just 2 steps. Tag&Rename is very powerful and you may find it to be very helpful in any renaming options.

I am not sure if The GodFather has the same options but i'm sure there is probably somehting similar.

Hope that helps.
