gum stick batteries

can anyone point me to another supplier of gum stick batteries as used in the imp, other than mp3players.co.uk, in the uk?

this probably should be in the imp forum but will be seen quicker in here!

If the iMP uses the same kind of 'gumstick' batteries as Sharp MiniDisc players, then you can give Digital-e a go.

£10.50 GBP for the Sony NH-14WM inc. free-delivery.

I once bought some earbuds from Digital-e, and they proved to be quick and reliable

The problem is that I think that works out more expensive than mp3players.co.uk, since their price is for a pair of batteries.

I'm sure AdvancedMP3Players.c o.uk also supply the imp replacement batteries too.

I would probably be cautious of using Sony (or any other brand) batteries in the imp, because I have read of problems using Sony batteries in some other brands of minidisc players, I would assume this might affect using them in an imp as well. You could try it though.
