Size limitations while recording

Hello,
Does anyone know why there is a size limitation while recording? For .wav its around 779mb and for .mp3 its around 195mb. The recording just stops after these sizes are reached.

Thanks,

Raymond

how long will probably depend on the bit-rate of the recordings.

lower bit-rate=MORE RECORDING TIME, but poorer quality
higher bit-rate=LESS RECORDING TIME, but better quality

::EDIT::

but think..........a cd-r can hold 700Mb or 80 minutes.......so if you record as a wav (more similar to auido cd, in terms of space/size), you should easily be able to record for 80 minutes or a lil more...........maybe 90 minutes??? (1 hour 20 - 1 hour 30 minutes)
