Ihp120 with main power...

...is it a problem to leave the mains power plugged in after the battery is fully charged? Does it compromise battery life long term in any way? Does it run 'directly' from the mains after a full charge?

Sorry if this sounds dumb - but I searched this forum under main power and battery and couldn't find anything which was relevant.

good question. i know the karma bypasses the battery when its fully charged, and just uses the ac power for the unit. but as for the ihp-120.....no clue

I would sure hope so, otherwise there'll be some unhappy iRiver owners who weren't aware and decided to leave it plugged in for play.
