Firmware competition for iRiver?
I discovered this thread over on the iRiver forum. It looks like someone may be in the process of developing open source firmware for the iHP series.

If iRiver doesn't come out with updated firmware that addresses the top priorities of its customers, I could definitley see something like this as a viable option.
