H120 Remote spring clip broken
The plastic clip on my H120 remote has broken (normal usage but over a year old), and also I've lost the spring. The moveable clip part broke where it has 2 holes that the spring went through. The remote body itself is not damaged. I still have the clip and am trying to epoxy (glue) some small round washers onto it to repair it, and find a new spring.
So far I cannot buy a similar spring at Ace hardware store. Could anybody post a closeup picture of the spring and the moveable clip assembly for me? I tried to buy a new clip and spring from iRiver but all the eBox reply offered was that I buy an new remote for $35 or so. Does anybody have these parts to sell or have other advice on how to fix? thanks, -matt

Just file off the bit that holds the clip, then put a bit of velcro on, stick the other bit of velcro to ur bag or shirt, then away u go. Its in another very recent thread, but I cant lint to it for some reason.

H300 remote not for H120
All are good ideas, thanks people.
As far as the H300 remote control, the only place I see it for sale at the iriver america web site does not show it having an LCD screen (which I love), and says it is not compatible with the H100.
