Faulty Headphone Jack

Hey Everyone

I have a little problem with my H140. The headphone jack on the player appears to be damaged. Ie at times music coming through it will sound like a low bt-rate MP3 file, until i move the connector around. Just like is the headphone cable was damaged.

However this happens with the remote control, stock earbuds, my sony neck phones and my behringer headphones, all of which work perfectly on other devices so i believe i have isolated the problem.

I guess my only real recourse is to contact iRiver about it, but seeing as i am in Australia, that could be a bit of a problem. Does anyone know who i should contact about this?

btw i am still under warranty

Thank you for you help

Chris

you good just plug your headphones directly into the line-out - it will work just as well.

Obviously you can't do that with the remote though.
