Regarding 'Firmware' and 'Suggestions to iRiver'...

I had a funny thought a moment ago that I had to share.
People are screaming and crying at the top of their lungs...erm, fingers...at the whole firmware issue. "Why won't they listen!?" seems to be the question of the day. I will attempt to answer this complex question as simply as possible.

What the US/UK/Other English Speaking Users/Members are saying:

"iRiver, you guys really screwed the pooch on this! We've been waiting MONTHS for the suggestions that YOU solicited from US to be implemented, strung out with your LIES and EMPTY PROMISES! Then, when you do finally deliver, it is a HOT STEAMING TURD! WE DEMAND SATISFACTION!!!!

What iRiver, a Korean company hears/reads in all of this:

iRiver, bok bok bok bok bok BOK bok bok bok BOK bok bok bok BOK bok bok bok bok bok bok BOK bok BOK BOK! Bok, bok bok bok bok, bok bok BOK BOK BOK! Bok DEMANDBOK SATISBOKBOK!!!!!

Can someone give a summary of the Korean user forum discussions on firmware development? Do they have fruitful discussion? From what I can see by babelfish'ing the Korean forum, it did not seem like it. Do they have a "Suggestion to iRiver" too?

My impression is that the korean forum don't allow full size thread replies, but only short comments as in "Suggestion to iRiver"? This of course limits the discussion.

So how are the korean discussion forum?

Pure complaining never helps. Constructive suggestions have much better chance of improving the H1xx firmware. But the "Gapless Playback"<->"Gap Delete" stunt seriously leads me to believe that there is a great communication breach between the Korean firmware developer department and iRiver international.... unless Korean users directly have requested

"Format Support",
"Adjustable Playback Speed with changed pitch",
"Improved Text Support",
"Study Mode".

instead of

"Gapless Playback",
"Improved Long List Navigation (pagedown/jump-to-next-letter)",

Yeah, iRiver got a lot of things do before start making useless grap! I believe that the last mentioned features/fixes are more wanted by the users than what iRiver has been implementing the last year.

I'm not being serious. I just think it's weird that he used the word 'Bok'. If, which I'm not mistaken, is the language Chickens speak. Never having tried talking to one, I wouldn't know anyway, but I have heard rumours.
