The adaptor effectively changes the plug configuration. The AC pack is rated for a very wide range of voltages (read on the pack itself), so it will work in most countries as long as you can either get the plugs to fit, or an adaptor.

I recently bought a US H120 on ebay USA (thanks to the low dollar) and it works fine using a EUR 7 power adaptor. Much cheaper and easier to buy one here. Hope this helps. |

I live in Germany and have a US H120. It came with a European plug adapter for my charger and it works fine. The charger will take either 110V or 220V so you just need the adapter instead of a new charger.
