Question about AFT-100 + other FM Transmitters

Hiya, Im thinking about gettting one of these for my H140 (probably AFT-100 via e bay - can you get cheaper elsewhere?). A Question I had is I see they can be used by plugging them into the headphone jack of any audio device.

What is the quality like through a bedroom hi-fi (with a good FM radio signal)...is it worthwhile or not a patch on listening through Red and Black Line Out wires...

Just curious as would be good to sometimes play this aloud without need for wires to stretch.

PS I live in Edinburgh, UK if anyone also lives nearby and can comment on FM transmitters quality of reception near Edinburgh that'd be good!

As to any source: yep.

As to quality: the folk wisdom is, in order of preference: use wires; use a casette adapter; use an FM transmitter.

With a wire between my player and my car's head unit, I can't tell any difference between the player and a CD.
