Question Recording Problem

I am experiencing a very annoying problem when recording - both line-in and internal mic. When the player is in stand-by mode and I press record it sometimes flips back to the track that was previously playing instead of going into record mode. This has happened on several occasions and sometimes takes several tries before it will actually record.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it something I am doing wrong?

Please help!

Gerry

Can anyone help me with this. The problem still persists. It may be a simple setting problem but I can't figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

When pressing the record button to start the recording, make sure you just do a little short press.

A longer press flips back to play mode.

I've been caught out by this many a time.

I think the appropriate exclamation in these circumstances is 'doh'.
