Positive iRiver America support

Just to get some praise out there:

My remote started malfunctioning on me and so I emailed iRiver America about it (the remote still was less than 3 months old and under warranty). Sent 3 emails over a little more than a week and got no response. Finally called them on their toll-free number and waited on hold for 20 minutes, but then finally got through to a helpful rep. who gave me his personal email address for me to send my email explaining the problem to. (He also told me that iRiver gets thousands of email daily.)

Now the good part: I emailed him, he wrote back within hours authorizing the return, I mailed the remote back on Wednesday (2 days ago) and I received a new remote today (Friday). (I live just a few miles from iRiver America, and so the geography helped here.)

Thanks, iRiver America! (Altho, I also asked/suggested if they might want to throw in a black case (I have the original brown) to make up for the inconvenience--I guess it must have fallen out of the package ...)
