Overdrive question

A friend of mine got a clix at my suggestion. We figured that it would work with overdrive books since it works with Audible. Instead she gets an error message of some kind when she tried to download books.

Apparently it's not on the approved device list and the library said it won't work with overdrive.

Does anyone know if any firmware upgrades are planned to change this?

Overdrive is just DRM'ed wma like the music you'll buy from a website (beside iTunes). Since clix2 does support wma DRM, it will (in MTP mode only) support overdrive (I once tested it myself).

If you can't get it to work in MTP mode, I'll suspect the problem lies with the DRM, not on clix2.
