WMP11 Vista not recognizing CLix2

I have had the CLix2 for a while and now I want it to work with WMP11 - been using mediamonkey so far.

So the Clix is accesable in mediamonkey as well as windows explorer.

But it does not appear in WMP11 in the list of devices.

I have tried restarting both clix and computer, updated clix firmware, reformatet the clix and so on.

Nothing works, WMP just doesn't see it.

I am using Vista so I can't reinstall WMP11 and can't roll back to WMP10.

Any suggestions please?

Make sure your clix2 is in MTP mode first. If MM recognizes you clix2 in Vista, that means the MTP driver is properly installed (as MTP driver is shared by all software). You can try uninstall clix2 driver from your PC (done in device manager in XP, not sure in VIsta), than disconnect andd reconnect your clix2 back so WMP11 can pick it up.
