Wow...great response from Jeff!
Re: my problem above. I emailed iriver and almost immediately received a reply from Jeff with complete instructions on returning my player and getting a new one. I am one happy camper so far....I'll keep you posted.

He keeps responding to me the same day. Are you emailing support@theiriversto re.com? That's where his emails are coming from. Hope you hear something soon.
