Merry Christmas everyone! I need help!

'Nothing' as the display remain 'black' all the time, even if you plug it into your PC?

Now select 'hold' (lock), than hit the reset (not the mic) again. Wait for a few seconds than try turning on the power.

Thank you...I tried that. Screen stays black. Did I get a defective one?

Sounds like it. I think you need to send it back for an exchange.

isn't there anything else I can try? Format or something? It doesn't sound like sending one back is very easy.

If it is in deed a hardware problem, there is really nothing you can do unless you want to void your warranty and open the player (which still doesn't mean you will be able to fix it). Send it back, it is the best choice you have.

Thank your help. I sure am disappointed. I hope it's not too difficult. Thanks again.
