Clix2 8GB Help Needed
I just got the Clix2, upgrading from the original Clix, and I am still MTS mode (so far, anyway), and using WMP11 to sync. There are some differences, so I have some questions:
1. How can I convert a DVD? On the Clix, i used iRiverter, which worked fine, but only gives 15fps video. How can I convert from a regular DVD (like a movie recorded off my DVR) to 30fps? I can't figure out how to use the new movie converter. The files on my DVD are not .avi There are two folders, and several files in each. iRiverter figured all this out for me. 2. How can i stop WMP11 from trying to sync everything on my PC? It's going nuts. 3. Can someone explain what the difference is between the two USB modes? When I put it in Power & Play mode, my PC doesn't think it's working (XP sp2). 4. iRiver plus 3 doesn't recognize my player. Is this because I need to be in UMS mode instead of MTP mode? If so, is it worth the switch over? It looks like I can label my FM stations, which would be nice. Are there any other features in iRiver Plus 3? 5. Can it be charged with any wall/usb charger (like for a cell phone)? They should al be the same I would think. TIA. Last edited by owlyn12345 : November 26th, 2007 at 08:33 PM. |

AC Adapter
I am new to the clix2 and do not always have access to a computer all the time to charge it. What are the other alternatives? I noticed that there is a AC adapter on the iriveramerica web site but it is for the clix 1 generation. Will this work? Can a motorola phone charger work? Thanks!
