You mean: it should be giving away a nice click sound... Because many people have troubles with this.

i have never had any problem atleast. but i have the first gen.

I haven't had any problem with mine and I have a 1st gen. clix. I do notice that when you show it to people who don't know how it use it they get very confused and start looking for buttons to push. Mine makes the nice click sound as well.

i was also wondering, because say if i were to listen to it in class, and wanted to change my song under neath my desk, is there a possible way to turn off the click sound? as i don't want it to be confiscated. |

haha, well i would only listen to it during some subjects, such as keyboarding, i didn't really want to be in that class, but i got stuck in it, so i would like to listen to music during that class. I would also listen to the player while doing school or homework, but not so much when the teacher is teaching
