Transfering photos/pictures into my iRiver U10 - How?

'ello. Yes I am new to this forum. And I hope to get to know some of you.

Been wondering how to transfer pictures into my iRiver U10 since I received it.

I have looked through the FAQ and have not found how.

Could someone kindly tell me please? Thanks

Already tried drag and dropping before I made this thread, did not work .

And which folder do I put it into? Picturelist or Pictures?

I did pictures but it doesn't show up...should I put it into one of the folders? (iriver or samples)
