broken clix 4GB

I have had my clix 4GB since Christmas. I recently left it at home for the past 2 weeks by mistake in a backpack. The backpack was brought back to me the other night by a family member. I used the clix at the gym last night and it read full battery and was working fine. I came home from the gym, sat around for an hour, and then plugged it into my cradle to charge/update. The computer did not recognize the player after trying all USB ports. So I took out the clix and tried to turn it on, and nothing happened. I don't have the standard USB charger on me to try, but I'm pretty certain the thing is broken.

I am going to call support, but I wanted to see if anyone else had experienced this issue before. Could it be that my cradle fried it? Or does it have something to do with the player being idle for so long at home? Thanks for any ideas.

I'd love to hear more about your resolution. I had a problem with the screen glowing, but nothing else working.

I'm having trouble getting help, and the contact email people at the iriver store just told me to contact iriverAmerica. They no longer had my sales information. I bought this last Christmas.

Good luck.
